Feel more confident and in control.

Group coaching provides a unique opportunity to safely be your full self in a non-judgemental and neuro-affirming environment outside the therapy space. Within a small group of fellow ADHDers, you'll be challenged and inspired as you're coached through group conversations and activities designed to help you expand your self-awareness, extracting insights and strategies that will help you to begin to make positive changes in the areas of life you choose.

LEARNING

Learn about ADHD, gain insights about yourself and the benefits of leaning into self-compassion.

EMPOWERMENT

Develop tools and strategies to maximise your ADHD strengths and manage your weaknesses.

growth

Make progress towards micro goals that are meaningful to you and your bigger picture of success.

VALIDATION

Connect, share and learn through validating  conversations with fellow ADHDers, facilitated by a professional coach.

Is group coaching the right option for you?

"How is the series designed specifically for ADHDers?"

We’re looking at personal development through a neuro-affirming lens, specifically the neurological differences of the ADHD brain. We’re not looking through a neurotypical or ableist lens (i.e. the one that society favours when it comes to mainstream personal development, explaining why these strategies have never quite worked for ADHDers…).

"I don’t have a formal ADHD diagnosis, can I still participate?"

Yes, absolutely! If you identify with the symptoms of living with ADHD we don’t need you to have a formal diagnosis to accept that that’s your reality and to support and empower you through it.

"I'm AuDHD, is it suitable for me?"

Yes! 1,000 times yes! There's an intentional balance of direction, structure and freedom to explore ideas within it. As a coach and facilitator I'm there to support you at every step.

"Is it suitable for someone who has become aware of being ADHD later in life?"

My goodness, YES! A later in life diagnosis (or self-realisation) often leads to a completely new way of seeing yourself, your current reality, your past experiences and how you think about your future. For this reason group coaching with a bunch of people who have a brain like yours can be incredibly validating and a safe place to learn about yourself and begin to step more boldly into your future.

"What topics will be covered?"

We’ll unpack a dynamic cross section of the ups and downs of life as an ADHDer in the pursuit of self-awareness and empowerment. We’ll cover personal identity, strengths, weaknesses, self-trust, executive dysfunctions, tools and strategies, mindset, self-compassion, confidence and self-worth. These topics are woven into a structured, yet flexible, framework that supports shared and individual progress and development across the series.

FAQ ADHD GC

FAQ's about ADHD Group Coaching

"How is the group coaching series structured and what’s included?"

This series consists of three group coaching sessions held over three consecutive weeks. Each session will go for 2hrs and you’ll have the option to arrive early if you like to have a bit of a chat and ground yourself before we dive in. The group size will be between 4-10people. Before each session I’ll send you a brief check-in email so when you arrive at the session you feel prepared and raring to go! As we go along, I’ll provide you with any relevant tools and templates to support your progress. You’ll also be able to email me between sessions for support if you need it!

“What’s the ultimate goal of ADHD group coaching?”

The ultimate goal is for participants to finish the group coaching series feeling more self-aware, self-compassionate, equipped and empowered in day to day life than when they started. Less overwhelm, more confidence and control.

"How is coaching different to therapy?"

Coaching is inherently different to therapy and it’s important to understand these differences. Therapy has a present and past focus with the goal of improving mental health through healing, emotional recovery, and resolving trauma. Coaching on the other hand, has a future focus with the goal of personal growth through the development of self-awareness, personalised strategies and practical actions that influence future outcomes.

"Will I have to do ‘homework’ between sessions?”

Ew, gross. No. Homework implies it’s boring and you don’t really want to do it. Will you set micro goals you’re motivated and inspired to progress between sessions? Yes! Will you be supported and empowered to do so in neuro-affirming ways? Also yes!

“If I’ve participated in one group coaching series, can I do another one later?”

Are you kidding me?! Of course you can! Participate in as many rounds of group coaching as you want to before you feel ready to fly on your own. The great thing about these series is that the ‘choose your own adventure’ style of goal setting means you can build on as many areas of life that you want to over time and you’ll always be hearing new and engaging experiences from different participants in each series.

“I’m low energy and feeling burnt out, is it worth joining in now or waiting until I feel better?”

Hmm…. There’s a lot to consider when it comes to neurodivergent burnout so I can’t give you a blanket answer. But what I can say is that if you have enough in the tank to come along, you’ll be able to use group coaching as an opportunity to explore what’s contributing to your burnout and develop strategies to recover and prevent it in the future.

“What happens if I apply but don’t secure a place in the series I apply for?”

Well firstly, that’s a bummer – it probably means that spots were snapped up quickly (as it’s a ‘first in best dressed’ situation). Secondly, don’t give up! You’ll be given the opportunity to be put on the priority wait list for the next series.

“Are sessions always held of an evening or will there be different options?”

There’ll be different options across the year, some series will be held during the day and others will be held after hours. I’ll aim to keep the day, time and venue consistent across each series for ease of planning in your eventful schedules!
